Finishes

The finish on a JAG Audio loudspeaker is perhaps the most unique feature next to it's quality sound. Our enclosures can be finished in a number of different ways , the most popular for our home systems being our textured stone like finish. These finishes can actually make your enclosure look like granite or sandstone for example.

Your finish starts with cabinet completely sealed, sanded, and edges radiused. Then it gets multiple coats of primer and more sanding. Next comes the base coat which you can match with your walls, floor, furniture ect... Most people pick a neutral color such as off-white, black, gray for the base color so as not to clash if they redecorate or move. Then a texture is applied to give a granite like look, followed by multiple coats of clear polycrylic to give a durable, washable finish.
